This project was created for the socially conscious clothing brand guamayu, a Berlin-based, queer, family-run business with a mission to spread joy and global awareness. Their goal was to make empowering one another easy and fun while creating a positive impact on Guatemala. The brand produced all their products fairly in Guatemala and donated 10% of every purchase to an NGO dedicated to empowering women in the country.
The photography concept focused on showcasing Guatemala’s vibrant colors to highlight the brand’s joyful and empowering identity. The photos were carefully designed to bring attention to the products while infusing them with the energy and warmth of Guatemalan culture. These images were used across guamayu’s website and social media to effectively present their products and their mission.
